Well - we found ourselves trying to decide what to do this weekend and ended up at East Coast Park. We had visited this park once before on our "tour of the island" and wanted to go back and try renting some bikes. The weather was really nice since it had been overcast all day and was a little cooler than normal. The bike riding was a blast and the whole family rode on 2 bikes that we rented. Kristy and Daryn shared a bike and everyone else was on my bike. We walked along the beach for a bit and checked out an awesome sandcastle competition.
While on the bike ride, we came upon a water ski park that was run completly by cables(No Boats!!) So the skiers were just pulled by a cable system along the course doing tricks along the way. It was a very cool place and maybe I will give it a shot one of these days.[CLICK ON PIC TO ZOOM IN]
Next we came up on an accident of some sort, they had a fire engine and ambulance and some sort of emergency response SUV. We never found out what the emergency was but I think someone had drowned(or almost drowned) at the beach. Yikes!
Anyway, after the excitement, we decided to eat at an Irish pub for dinner(well I decided - they had Guiness on draft!!) Here is our nice waitress pouring me an Erdinger Dunkel. 
So that was our fun day at the beach.

Glad you all had a good weekend. Wow...you are seeing some interesting things. Just a few more days until the arrival of the furniture....and the most important thing - the 'Ultimate Coffee Machine'. yippeee!!!
